He was predeceased by: his brother Martin Cotlar (Sally); his brother-in-law Millard Hoffman (Diane); his parents, Blanche Cotlar and Harry Cotlar; and his parents-in-law, Theresa and Morris Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cotlar; his children, Merle Fox (late Greg) and Andy Cotlar; his grandchildren, Matthew, Peter, Megan and Eli Fox; his brother Stanley Cotlar (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Hubert "Sonny" Hoffman (late Marilyn) and Marilyn Keimon (late Stuart).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions preferred to the Fox Family Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at the Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, or the charity of your choice.
