Harriet Abatgis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2021, at the age of 86, Harriet Abatgis (Olivette, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin B. Birnbaum and Helen Birnbaum; her spouse Spiro Abatgis; her child Jody Miller; and her siblings, Lynn Kopolow (Martin) and Gerald Birnbaum.
She is survived by: her cousin George Burns; her children, Terrye Seigel and Chip Seigel (Julie); her grandchildren, Ben Bonskowski (Mindi), Jessica Bonskowski, Harrison Seigel, Lauren Seigel and Michael Seigel; and her sister Joan Seltzer (late Harry). She is also survived by cousins and extended family.
Due to Covid-19, Harriet's funeral will be a private graveside service at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, Thursday, January 7th at 10:30 AM.
Family requests memorial contributions be sent to "The Joan & Harry Seltzer Fund for Empowering Young Women" at Congregation Shaare Emeth.
