He is survived by: his close friends, Milton Goldenberg, Shelley Fisher and Seymour Bailis; his wife Phyllis Woollen Markus; his children, Ellen Markus (Bill Sherman), David Markus, Suzanne Alpert (Gary), Katie Silberman (Bryan Knapp), Bryce Woollen (Stefanie) and Hilary Cedergreen (Jacob); and his grandchildren, Elliot, Grace Sherman, Hannah, Abigail Alpert, Lincoln, Haven Knapp, Benjamin, Chloe, Eliza Cedergreen, Cooper and Sydney Woollen.
