He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis B. Sher and Jeannette L. Sher; and his sister Helen. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sher (Barrentine); his children, Edward Sher (Fay) of Clayton, Elizabeth Sher (Scott Robinson) of Portland, OR, Alice Riccabona (Vincent) of Earlysville, VA and Jacqueline Chunn of Clayton; his grandchildren, Katherine Sher (Jared Serota), Alexander Sher (Sarah Capungcol), Jay Riccabona and Luke Riccabona; his great grandchild Sadie Serota; and his brother Byron.
