He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Simorka and Kathleen Mullen Simorka; and his sister Susan Simorka. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda L. Simorka; his children, Jared, Aaron and Hannah Simorka; his stepchildren, Miranda Miceli (Scott), Lauren Bode (Matt) and Micah Gierse (Hannah); his grandchildren, Lydia, Madelyn, Charlotte, Rowan, Braden, Madison, Teagan and Ellis; and his brothers, Michael (Nancy) and Daniel (Heather DuBois).
In lieu of flowers, donations or memorials can be made in Dave's memory to: Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Dinah Weable Breast Cancer Foundation (providing free mammograms to uninsured women) or to Qavah the Storehouse (supports children in foster care and their caregiving families).
