He was predeceased by: his brother Harold Plengemeier (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Iris Plengemeier Shepard; his daughters, Debbie Wahl (Aaron) and Amy Wilson (Tommy); his grandchildren, Rachel, Adam Wahl, Jimmy and Annie Wilson; his siblings, Sandy Vitt (Dave) and Susie Vogt; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Sipkin (Judy) and Dennis Sipkin (Margie). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions preferred to Operation Food Search, 1644 Lotsie Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132.
