He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Jules Kopp and Fran Kopp; his sister Judy Kopp; and his former wife Anita Soffer Kopp. He is survived by: his wife Diane Jacobs Kopp; his children, Sasha Kopp, Gary Kopp (Susie Levitt Kopp) and Susan Kopp Townsley (Bill Townsley); and his grandchildren, Adam, Annie Kopp, Charlie and Arlo Townsley.

In his memory, if you wish, preferred donations may be made to the St. Louis Zoo Association or to the American Cancer Society.
