She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. Norman J. Matulef; her sons, Mark Matulef (Dolores Acquista) and Paul Matulef (Yoko Koyama); and her grandchildren, Normandie Koyama-Matulef, Sam Matulef, Lydia Matulef and Simon Matulef.

“We will miss Carolyn so much. She has been part of our lives for the past 35 years. We have been trying to contact her and we’re hoping against hope nothing was wrong. My husband Bob Hoskins worked on her house for so many years. We go to Florida for the winter and she would send us the most artistic cards. Let us know she needed Bobs help when we got home.
