She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Friedman; her parents, Herman Glick and Esther Glick; and her sister Selma Gidlow (late Elmer). She is survived by: her children, Susan Schmidt Whiddington (Charles) of London, Nancy Schmidt of New York City and Bennett Schmidt (Shelley) of New York City; her grandchildren, Clayton Schmidt (Samantha), Richard Whiddington (Aoshuang Zhang), Blake Schmidt and Emma Whiddington; and her great grandchild Ava Schmidt.
