He is survived by: his children, Tony Derkum (Michelle) of Meta and Angie Derkum of St. Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Will Derkum, Melina Derkum, Natalee Derkum, Ashley Twehus, Jacob Twehus and Wyatt Twehus; his great grandchild Waylon Twehus; his sister Bernice Benton of Wardsville; and his brother-in-law Richard Prenger of Taos. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
