She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Harke and Lucia "Lou" Wehde Harke; her husband Alvin Bauer; her siblings, Robert Harke, Carl Harke (Dorothy), Roy Harke, Earl Harke, Gary Harke and Harriet Bauer (Epp); her siblings-in-law, Elvera Rothermich (Fritz), Harold Bauer and Loyola Bauer (Ethyl); and her grandsons, Seth Bauer, Micah Bauer and Gabriel Bauer.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Bauer of Winfield, MO, Kenneth Bauer (Deborah) of Foristell, MO, Timothy Bauer of Old Monroe, Mary Kay Kaimann (Charles) of Eolia, MO, Neil Bauer (Julie) of Old Monroe, Jane Runge (Tony) of Winfield, Joseph Bauer (Genia) of Old Monroe, John Bauer (Jennifer) of Old Monroe, Carol Hoelting (Phil) of Moscow Mills, MO, Jennifer Nordmann (Bill) of Old Monroe and Donna Kientzy (Rick) of Silex, MO; her sister Kathryn Bowman of Chain; and her sisters-in-law, Bernadette Harke of Silex, Betty Harke of Warrenton, MO, Ann Harke of Chain and Norma Harke of O'Fallon, MO. She is also survived by thirty nine grandchildren and sixty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kc Hall (121 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (122 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369).
