She is survived by: her children, Ron Finnern (Devera), Linda Holland (Rick), Gary Finnern (Wanda), Dennis Finnern, Carl Finnern, Jr. (Kathleen), Gerard Finnern, Suzanne Green (Robert), Lisa Sponable (Scott), Donna Turkington (Robert) and Michael Finnern (Jackie).

Memorials may be made in Velma's name to Alzheimer's Association.
