Sue Nilges Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sue Nilges (OFallon, Missouri), born in Moberly, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Judge Aubrey R. Hammett and Edith Kellogg Hammett; her sisters, Laura VanHouten (Don) of Moberly, MO and Theresa Rucker Phillips (L. C.) of Port Charlotte; and her granddaughter Christina Alexander.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Larann Risch (James Risch) and Michael Hammett Nilges (Vicki) of Warrenton; her sister Ann March (Harold) of Lakewood, CO; her friend Barbara Bartee; her grandsons, Richard Batchelder (Tiffini) and Joseph Batchelder (Alicia); and her great grandchildren, Brianna Batchelder, Alex Batchelder, Colin Batchelder, Jacob Alexander, Madelyn Batchelder and Landon Batchelder. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, numerous great-niece and nephews.
