He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mahurin and Pearl Mahurin; his son Bryan Mahurin; and his siblings, Laverne Mahurin, Billy Mahurin and Wilma East.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Mahurin; his daughter Michelle Prince (Danny); and his grandchildren, Lucas Prince, Cody Prince, Cheyanne Prince and Cameron Prince.
