He was predeceased by: his mother Betty L. Koenen (Pierce); his stepmother Myrna Koenen; his pet Dio; and his sisters, Nancy Koenen and Pamela Koenen.
He is survived by: his father Larry G. Koenen; his children, Ricky Koenen, Jr., Barbi Blanke (Kevin), Catherine Rupp (Patrick) and AnnMarie Koenen (Chris); his grandchildren, Michaela Koenen, Ricky Koenen, III, Nathan Blanke, Sophia Blanke, Ashton Rupp and Amelia Rupp; and his pet Zeus.
