He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Steele and Eva Steele; and his sibling Claude Steele. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Steele; his children, Lynn Hibbeler (Mark), Phillip M. Steele and Kim Rakiec; his grandchildren, Eric Little (Nidhi), Nicholas Hibbeler, Adam Hibbeler (Jessica), Jon Wiese (Kristen), Jamie Simko (Zach), Katy Wittwer, Kelly Aschbrenner, Sophia Steele and Marc Rogge (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Violet Hibbeler, Julian Hibbeler, Neela Little, Roman Little, Ava Wiese, Everly Wiese, Oak Wiese, Jemma Rogge, Cameron Rogge and Laine Rogge.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - O'Fallon (311 Wood St, O'Fallon, MO 63366). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
