In loving memory of Linda S. Vef of OFallon, Missouri, born in Peoria, Illinois, who departed this world on September 19, 2024 at the age of 73. As we bid adieu to Linda's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Linda has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Hickey (Eddie Hickey) and Eddie Hickey; and her siblings, Sharon Hickey Hamann and Don Hickey. She is survived by: her husband Tom Vef; her daughters, Anna Lawrence (David) and Kelly Thompson; her granddaughter Sophia Lawrence; her stepson Anthony Thompson (Linda); and her sister-in-law Nadine Hickey. She is also survived by two nieces and three nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Linda's memory.
