It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Thiel of OFallon, Missouri, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillie Thiel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Thiel; her granddaughter Alissa Robinson; her siblings, Fred Nelson, Robert Nelson and Louise Mae; and her parents, Oscar Fred Nelson and Lillie Rachel Nelson.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Arlene Thiel; her nieces, Sharon Phillips, Lisa Carey and Betsy Knapp (Cory); her nephew Michael Thiel; and her grandchildren, Katie Ferrari (Sean), James Phillips, Michael Thiel, Amber Thiel, Justin Carey, Amanda Wood (Robert), Dylan Thiel (Bionka), Joshua Knapp (Hannah), Logan Knapp and Luke Knapp.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baue Funeral Home - O'Fallon (311 Wood St, O'Fallon, MO 63366). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made in the name of Ann Thiel to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
