She was predeceased by: her spouse Lape; her parents, Frances Purdom and Luther Clyde Purdom; her daughter Deborah Sims; her brothers, James Purdom and Billy Purdom; and her former spouses, Oliver Craig and Alvie Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Craig; her grandchildren, Michael Sims (Arianna) and Krista Grubb (Joel); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Konnor, Pierce, Audrey, Alexander, Ashton, Jax and Caia; and her siblings, Virginia Thompson (Donald) and Ted Purdom (Nancy).
Memorials may be made in Lena's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
