He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ida Mitchell; his parents, Lillian Mitchell and Enis Mitchell; his children, Eric Mitchell (Sheri) and Desiree Mitchell; his stepchildren, Sandra Timme (Mike) and Dale Wood (Kathy); his grandsons, Devin, Nicholas Mitchell, Alex Mitchell, Alexander Timme, Mark and John Wood; and his great grandchild Summer Mitchell.
Memorials may be made in Howard's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
