He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Sachs and Wilhelmina E. Sachs (Jane V. Sachs); his siblings, Robert Sachs and Rosemary Debrecht; his brothers-in-law, Fritz Debrecht and Bill Orf; and his grandson Brad.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Sachs (Teri) of St. Louis, MO, James Sachs (Kathleen) of St. Louis, MO, Charles Sachs of St. Louis, MO, Eric Sachs (Chrissy) of O'Fallon, MO and Patricia Ballmann (Dale) of Flint Hill, MO; his siblings, Thomas Sachs (Judy) of Flint Hill, MO, Ronald Sachs (Pat) of Flint Hill, MO and Margie Orf of St. Charles, MO; his sister-in-law Geri Sachs of O'Fallon, MO; his close friend Jerry Kirchoff of O'Fallon, MO; and his grandchildren, Lauren (Todd), Allison (Louie), Jeff (Cody), Morgan (Jon), Dana (Darren), Andy (Erynn), Teddy, John, Mary, Patrick, Sam, Casey and Josie. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
