He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Trankler; his parents, Milfred Trankler and Mary Trankler; and his sister Mary Jane Trankler. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Trankler (Amy) and Gina Balch (David); his grandchildren, Jacob, Isabella and Nicholas; and his siblings, Larry Trankler (Joan), Beverly Arnold (Jim) and Dale Trankler (Joyce). He is also survived by his family, and together with his wife and children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gary's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles, MO.
