We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 76, Dennis Yancey of OFallon, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Dennis may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his sister Diane Yancey of Paducah Kentucky; and his parents, Rommye L Yancey and Reba K Yancey. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Ann Lehnen; his children, Christopher Yancey and Katie Pfitzer; his extended family, Marty and Deanna Baker of Wentzville; and also, Isabella and Sophia Baker.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
Memorials may be made in Dennis's name to American Cancer Society or Five Acre Animal shelter.
