She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Winkelmann; her parents, Otto VanBooven and Martha VanBooven; her children, Ron Winkelmann (Ann) and Karen Sue Winkelmann; her grandson Justin Winkelmann; and her siblings, Orval VanBooven and Ida Mae Scheidegger.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Winkelmann (Dawn), David Winkelmann (Terri) and Mary Ziegemeier (Jeff Gibson); and her grandchildren, TJ Winkelmann (Raelynne), Matt Winkelmann (Angela), Kristen Sherry (Matt), Mark Winkelmann, Meaghan Winkelmann, Jaclyn Ziegemeier, Isaiah Winkelmann (Megan), Dylan Ziegemeier (Becca), Nolan Winkelmann (Mady Smith), Tyler Winkelmann, Clayton Ziegemeier and Gabriella Winkelmann.
Memorials may be made in Darlene's name to Assumption Church or Masses, or St. Dominic High School.
