He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Purdy; his parents, Cordula Howard (Purdy) and Vernon Purdy; his siblings, Arvel Sydney Purdy (late Doris) and Franklin Wayne Purdy (Joan); and his great-grandparent Carroll.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dingledine, Deana Knoblauch (Kevin) and Jami Purdy; his grandchildren, Chelsea Dingledine, Lauren Dingledine, Amanda Sanders, Austin Knoblauch (Ashley), Danielle Felker (Tyler), Madison Knoblauch, Molly Davis (Danny), Nicholas Purdy and Samantha Purdy; and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Luca, Georgia, Kinleigh, Maren, Mila, Hadley, Eva, Scottlyn, Kollins, Kendra and Zoe.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (3866 Old Hwy 94 S, St Charles, MO 63304). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery (3866 Old Hwy 94 S, St Charles, MO 63304).
