It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Dale Young of Odessa, Missouri, born in Buckner, Missouri, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Jeffries Young and Dorothy Marie Young (Sargis); and his brothers, Tim and Tom Young. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elayne Kueffer; his friends, Steve, Bulldog and Mules; his children, Stephanie Young-Chapman (Chris) of Odessa, MO and Scott Young (Shannon) of Odessa, MO; his grandchildren, Cole Chapman, Landyn Chapman, Devonn Ritchie, Garrett Young, Bennett Young and Reese Young; his great grandchild Emerson Ritchie; his brothers, Dr. Michael Young (Mary) of Jefferson City and Patrick Young (Mona) of Russellville, MO; his sister-in-law Wendy Young of Lone Elm, MO; and also Mary Young of Odessa, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Tabor Cemetery Association or to the family in care of Mary Young for a charity to be decided at later date.
