It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Luetta Howerton of Odessa, Missouri, born in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, who passed away on October 6, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rolla Ray and Hazel Irene Leonard (Sizemore); her husband Samuel Leo Howerton; her son Lonnie Allen Howerton; and her son-in-law Jeff Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Patty Howerton of Derby, KS; her children, Ronnie Ray Howerton (Donna) of Odessa, MO and Connie Joyce Sanders of Mayview, MO; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bailey, Sarah Groth (Tyler), Kelly Morris (Anthony), Kristy Howerton, Sammi Burroughs (David) and Tyler Sanders; her great grandchildren, Julianna Bailey, Jackson Bailey, Lilly Groth, Easton Groth, Clayton Morris, Ayden Morris, Marissa Smoot, Samuel Burroughs and Iris Burroughs; and her brother James Ray Leonard (Ruth). She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church in Odessa, MO.
