She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd A. Helm and Inez Helm (Miles); her son David Michael "Homer"; and her husband Barney Brunetti. She is survived by: her son Steve Brayley (Terri); her grandchildren, Dena Suftko (JJ) and John Brayley; and her stepdaughter Peggy Cotter. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Her outstanding contributions to the societies since 1975 include gathering materials, publishing them, and donating copies to the local libraries including the Midwest Genealogical Library in Independence.
