It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Mae Shilling of Odessa, Missouri, born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Pauline (Curtis) and Henry Leroy Dike; her husband Larry Albert Shilling; and her siblings, Ruth McCormick, Patricia Bell, Noah "Tony" Dike, Larry Dike, Rex Dike and Cloy Cahill.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Shilling (Clare) of Mesa, CO, Tammy Sullivan (Ray) and Shawn Shilling (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Christopher Sullivan (Tabetha), Logan Sullivan, Chelsey Ream (Clint), Lindsay Romero (Bill) of De Beque, CO, Jacob Shilling (Sierra) of Rifle, CO, Jacob Duke and Ashlyn Shilling; her great grandchildren, Boyd, Addaleigh, Silas Sullivan, Aubrey, Luna Sullivan, Liam, Gabrianna Romero, Lyla Ream and Lillian Shilling; and her siblings, Betty Fosberg, Marilyn Dodd of Fairway, KS, Pamela Bower-Childers of Ellettsville, IN, Connie Carlson and Robert Eidson of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
