Homer Jones Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2022, at the age of 89, Homer Jones of Odessa, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Issac Jones and Beulah Viola Stone; his wife Nancy Lavonne Southers; and his brothers, Ralph (Doris) and Marion.

He is survived by: his children, Sharon (Marty McDermed) of Odessa, Larry of Odessa and Janet Bicknell of Higginsville; his daughter-in-law Julie Jones of Independence; his sister Hope Case (Bill); his sisters-in-law, Patsy Jones of California and Annabelle Breshears (Randy) of Clinton; and his nephew Brian. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Alzheimer's research or to mission work for your local church and can be left in care of the funeral home.
