She is survived by : her children, Steve Hotmer (Linda) of Odessa, MO, Leonard Hotmer, Donald Hotmer (Sharon) and Judy Hotmer of Blue Springs, MO; her sister Bonnie Neece of Lexington, MO.; her grandchildren, James Hotmer (Becky) of Lee's Summit, MO, Mike Frerking (Rhonda), Robert Hotmer (Joy), Dena Faith (Brad), Tisha Ostermeyer (Allen), Morgan Frerking and Phillip Hotmer; and her great grandchildren, Amethyst Amsler, Benjamin, Weston Hotmer, Lane, Kennedy, Aron Frerking, Adrienne Pate, Kaylin, Margaret Hotmer, Isaac, Anabelle, Everett Faith, Johnathon, Allie Ostermeyer and Zelda Frerking.

“Helen had the energy of a 30 year old and was a free spirit. I met Helen in 1999 at St George Parish church in Odessa when I moved into the community. She was always a bundle of energy and ready to go and do anything. I hope that I can try to live with the same spark of energy and decisiveness she had. What a wonderful person. I am sorry for your family's loss.”
