She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hartwig and Mary Hartwig; her son Todd Champion; and her siblings, Mary Lou Daughtrey, Merle Hartwig and David Hartwig.

She is survived by: her children, Ben Champion, Jr. of Overland Park, KS., Blair Champion (Ed Shipley) of Rehoboth Beach, DE., Carlotta (Dale Miller) and Patti (Bert Ruehter).
