It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Wells Boyle (Odessa, Missouri), born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on September 22, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmette Rodger and Kathryn Boyle (Wells); his brother Rodger Boyle; and his brother-in-law Commander John Raymond. He is survived by : his friend Claude; his wife Mary Elizabeth Boyle of Odessa, MO; his sons, James Michael Boyle (Lyric) of Odessa, MO, Brian Wallis Boyle of Odessa, MO and Kevin Claude Boyle (Rosemary) of Winterset, IA; his grandchildren, Logan Boyle of Arkansas, Riley Boyle of Kansas City, Keegan Boyle of Odessa, Grace Boyle of Maryville, Carson, Olivia Boyle of Winterset, IA, Sloane, Carter Poindexter of Overland Park, KS, Brynn of Odessa, River of Odessa and Sawyer Boyle of Odessa; his sister Kathryn Jean Boyle of Springfield, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Naomi Boyle and Sydney Wallis Backstrom of Prairie Village, KS. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and some very special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church.
