With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Mae Myers of Oak Ridge, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Elbrecht and Ruby Dambach Elbrecht; and her brother Nelson Elbrecht. She is survived by: her children, Keith Myers of Oak Ridge, Debbie Ruch (Dale) of Oak Ridge and Karen Schumer (Andy) of Oak Ridge; and her sister Laverne Ahrens of Oak Ridge. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Old Appleton Brushhawks.
