He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Buehler and Alma Fisher Buehler; his grandson Eric Crow; and his siblings, Carolyn Doyle and Edward Buehler.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Felty; his children, Carla Crow (Bill) of Argyle, Curt Buehler (Noy) of Jackson and Craig Buehler (Sarah) of St. Charles, Missouri; his grandchildren, Asha Gremillion (Sean), Trevor, Marissa, Beau, Luke and Cashel Buehler; and his brother Howard Buehler of Memphis, Tennessee..

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Fairview Methodist Cemetery.
