He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Earl and Hazel Marie Rumfelt Terry; and his siblings, Norman, Donald, Roy, George (Richard), Betty Louise Piper, Marion Earlene Moore and Carrol Terry.
He is survived by: his sisters, Barbara Mason of Cape Girardeau and Martha Heider of Carbondale. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
