He was predeceased by: his father Jasper Henry; and his siblings, Jerome Nelson and Doris Jean Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Norma Louise Nelson (Tibbs); his children, Nikki Calhoun (James) of Jonesboro, AR and Amber Nelson of Clubb; his grandchildren, James Calhoun Jr. and Ally Calhoun; and his siblings, Johnny Nelson (Terrie) of Gainesville, Allen Nelson of Coldwater, Gary Nelson (Joyce) of Owensville, Earnie Wilson (Shawna) of Ellsinore, Vera Archer of Oak Ridge and Yvonne Smith of Fredericktown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
