He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gruenefeld and Carrie Gruenefeld (Cleona "June" Gruenefeld); his son David Neal Gruenefeld; his granddaughter Stephanie Howell; and his siblings, Donald Gruenefeld, Gilbert Gruenefeld and Shirley Coleman.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Kay Roark (Randy) of Bellflower, MO, Larry Wade Gruenefeld (Kathy) of High Hill, MO, Robert Clay Gruenefeld (Sheila) of Warrenton, MO, Connie Sue Gruenefeld (Bryan Moore) of Belpre, OH, Timothy Eugene Gruenefeld of Jonesburg, MO and Edward H. Gruenefeld of Jonesburg, MO; his brothers, Darrell Gruenefeld (Toni) and Ralph Gruenefeld (Diane) of Danville, MO; his grandchildren, Michael Roark, Jason Roark, Christopher Gruenefeld (Sydney), Matthew Gruenefeld (Krystle), Kevin Wells, Thomas Gruenefeld (Amy), Carie Biggs (James), Sherry Fairow (Robert), Jaclyn Hake (Zane), Kayla Hart (Corey) and Samantha Howell; and his wife June. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren.
