He was predeceased by: his parents, Buryl Dill and Minnie Dill; his siblings, Charles "Bud" Johnson and Barbara White (Hale); his uncle Charles; and his aunt Opal Northcott.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Dill of Oak Grove, MO; his children, Deborah Rentfro-Downing (Steven) of Kansas City, MO, Todd Rentfro (Robin) of Ft. Myers, FL and Sabrina Dill-Wiewel (Matthew) of Kansas City, MO; his granddaughter Peyton Wiewel of Kansas City, MO; his siblings, Peggy Dill Todd of St. Joseph, MO and Ralph Dill (Robin) of St. Joseph, MO; and his sister-in-law Jerilyn Johnson of Nashville, TN..

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army.
