As we bid Walter farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Walter is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Solon Reed and Carrie Reed (Stiles); his siblings, Thomas Reed and Betty Jean Moore; his son Michael Reed; and his grandson Adam Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Reed of Oak Grove; and his children, Suzan O'Dell (Dean Robinette) of Polo, MO and Jeff Reed (Mary) of Oak Grove. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Church of Christ (104 SW 6th St, Oak Grove, MO 64075). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
