She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dorothy June (Thomas) and Raymond Leonard Barnett; her husband Michael Timothy Markum; her sons, Michael Joel (Dawn), Daniel Macrae (Tammy) and Kelly Scott Markum (Jeni); and her grandchildren, Michaela, Aurora, Winter, Alena, Landon and Dylan Markum. She was also cherished by extended family and friends.
