Ruth M. Grote Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth M. Grote of Oak Grove, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur A. Baker and Bertha G. Baker (Hampton); her husband William "Bill" E. Grote Jr.; her sons, Gregory L. Grote and William Art Grote; and her brothers, C. W., Roy, Jim, Rex Baker and Vernal Hampton.
She is survived by: her son Douglas E. Grote; her granddaughters, Hope Grote White (Jason) of Colorado Springs, CO and Taylor Grote Cumpton (Preston) of Garden City, MO; her stepgrandsons, Tony Schwappach (Melissa) of Rockwall, TX and Bryan Schwappach (Emily) of Liberty, MO; her stepgreat-grandsons, Austin, Ethan and Cullen Schwappach; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Baker and Joyce Baker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family requests everyone wear masks.
