He is survived by : his children, Tom (Laurie Hippensteel), Dave (Shirlene Hippensteel), and Andrew (Saori Hippensteel); and his grandchildren, Jordan Hippensteel (Andrea), Mollie Hippensteel, Michael Hippensteel, Kimberly Craig (Jake Smith), Owen Craig (Anthony), Megen Hippensteel and Mia Hippensteel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
