He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Lee Sr. and Lula Opal Thompson (Large); his siblings, Edwin Thompson Jr. and Betti Jean Wyatt; and his nephew Edwin Thompson III.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Mona Thompson of Oak Grove; his nieces, Judy Thompson of Oak Grove and Elizabeth Wyatt of Thayer, MO; and his nephew Gerald Barker.
