He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. and Nellie V. Brown (McBride); his brothers, James Brown and Earl Brown; his former wife Margie Brown; and his grandson Bryan Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; and his children, Ed Brown of Independence, Phil Brown of Independence, Julie Brown of Independence and Tim Brown of Independence. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
