He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy J. Taggart and Irene C. Taggart (Stone); his wife Carol M. Porter; and his sister Ruth Ann Wheeler. He is survived by: his children, Steve Taggart (Sharon) of Odessa, MO and Tresa Overfield (Max) of Blue Springs, MO; his grandchildren, Clint Taggart (Alesha), Joshua Taggart (Mary), Caleb Taggart (Sammi), Alyssa Overfield-Shultz (Chris), Crystal Kusick (Jason) and John Stewart (Stephanie); and his great grandchildren, Eli Taggart, Nathan Taggart, Brayden Taggart, Brynley Taggart, Ava Kusick, Isaac Kusick, Sophia Kusick, Hunter Stewart and Abby Stewart. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Odessa.
