As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Eileen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Cook and Annabelle Cook; her brothers, James Cook of Leesville and Rick Cook of Jasper; and her son Tim Payne.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Payne; her sister Loretta Reynolds of Moline, IL; and her daughters, Melody Payne of Oak Grove and Natalie Phillips (Gary Gene Payne) of North, KC. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (400 SE 14th St, Oak Grove, MO 64075). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
