He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Glen and Bertha Ruth Hadley (Berger); his wife Norma Jean Hadley (Williams); his children, Doris McCafferty (John) of Blue Springs, Missouri and Robert Hadley (Connie) of Mission, Texas; his brother Melvin Hadley of Oregon; and his sons, Nigel and Ian. He was also cherished by Six Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family has asked for memorial contributions to go to the American Cancer Society, In memory of Delmar.

“I was Delmar neighbor for the last 30 years Very nice man always enjoyed talking to him. Always on his lawn mower I think it was what he loved doing the most. Told me a lot of stories about digging basement under the house he bought when he got out of the service. He will be truly missed by all.”
