He is survived by: his wife Penny Nix; his children, Steven Nix, Whitney Hydorn of Sebewaing, MI and Mikenna Ambrusko (Joey) of Oak Grove; his grandson Colt Brown; his father Cliff Nix of Grain Valley, MO; and his siblings, Charlotte Barrington (Chris) of Blue Springs, MO, Lee Nix (Melissa) of Independence and Lisa Dolan (Steve) of Grain Valley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
