He was predeceased by: his parents, Niles Cornwell and Marian Cornwell (Dunn); and his siblings, Niles Cornwell Jr., Dale Cornwell and Diane Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Cornwell; his children, Melinda Peck (Brian) of Lee's Summit, Monte Cornwell (Jennifer) of Littleton, CO. and Jared Cornwell (Michelle) of Lone Jack, MO; his sister Linda Resch (Bob) of Independence, MO; and his grandchildren, Dylan Peck, Mila Peck, Joseph Cornwell, Gavin Cornwell, Myra Cornwell, Brandon Cornwell, Nathan Cornwell, Tyler Cornwell, Bradley Cornwell and Madison Cornwell.
